Exterior view of the limestone clad building. The existing windows were replaced with new energy efficient windows and built-in AC units. A new ramp provides accessible entry to the main lobby.

The central corridor was offset to provide for two different apartment types. Rental offices are located near the side entry approached by a ramp.

The project consisted of constructing new apartments within an existing three story plus basement, 60' x 200' vacant office building. The design provides for eighty five new apartments. The central corridor was offset to create two distinct apartment designs ranging from studios to 5 bedrooms. Existing stairs located at the corners were filled in and new stair towers were created on the interior corridors to utilize the entire building exterior for windows. The existing mechanical penthouse was converted into two level apartments connected to the floor below.
